Every wrestler hopes to have a legacy full of moments that fans can watch back decades later with affection. The following Attitude Era moments prove that's possible by getting even better with age.

However, it ended up being a genius angle that made Stephanie find her groove as a heel character. The reveal that Stephanie married Triple H by choice due to their mutual disdain for Vince led to them becoming a top heel act that worked on and off for decades.
There were many great debuts in the Attitude Era, but one stands the test of time as the peak introduction. WWE set up months of vignettes hyping the Y2J reveal with the countdown clock set to reach the time during an episode of Raw.
The former WCW cruiserweight Chris Jericho received a rock-star ovation since it was such a great debut moment. WWE still uses this in video packages since it became even greater throughout the years. Every great wrestling debut is compared to Jericho as the best.
One smaller but memorable moment to become even more appreciated today featured The Rock and Mick Foley showcasing their amazing chemistry. Rock's sunglasses accidentally fell off his face cutting a promo for a perfect improv scenario.
Foley picked up the glasses to a huge pop and placed it on Rock's face. The organic moment showed the magic of wrestling fans embracing unexpected fun like that more as time goes on. Rock and Foley continued to have great moments as the best odd couple tag team.
The impact of D-Generation X is still felt today with WWE having various reunion moments. X-Pac coming back to WWE and joining DX was a moment where the group changed for the better. Shawn Michaels retiring required Triple H needing the ideal replacements to move the faction in a new direction.
X-Pac's first moment joining the group saw him cutting a shoot promo burying Eric Bischoff over his controversial WCW release. A moment that real got more fans behind DX and inspired a great babyface turn that led to more popularity growing.
WWE started to push Edge and Christian more after leaving The Brood and getting more mic time away from the silent vampire gimmick. The sense of humor of the real-life best friends playing brothers helped them get over more as rising stars.
One segment that no one could have called being important saw Edge and Christian using plastic kazoos to play entrance themes. This surprisingly became part of Edge and Christian's legacy with them bringing it back since fans loved it that much.
Kurt Angle became a breakout star for WWE when debuting during the Attitude Era. The heel character made Angle a huge star with a tremendous rookie year winning the WWE Championship. However, it was the face turn in 2001 that showed that he could thrive in both roles.
Angle bringing a milk truck to the ring to spray Steve Austin and the Alliance was a must-watch moment. Fans loved it enough to be relevant today with Angle recreating it at the Hall of Fame and during a recent Smackdown episode. The milk truck is a huge part of Angle's legacy over twenty years later.
The constant changing of titles for WWE in the Attitude Era made it easier to overlook the impact of someone winning the WWE Championship for the first time. WWE going back to the Montreal Screwjob as a storytelling device made it harder to get behind The Rock's first world title win.

A heavily criticized storyline of the Attitude Era featured Trish Stratus being humiliated by Vince McMahon by having to bark like a dog and do degrading acts. Even though it is impossible to defend those moments, there was a payoff in mind at the end.
Trish conned Vince into thinking she still wanted to be with him only to set him up at WrestleMania 17 vs Shane McMahon. A slap to Vince and tricking him into thinking she drugged Linda led to Linda helping Shane defeat Vince in an underrated moment.
Wrestling fans started to connect with the real-life stories of the wrestlers during the Attitude Era. Triple H was a hated heel when he tore his quads in a painful injury that required surgery. Fans earned huge respect for Triple H finishing the match while hurt and wanted to treat him like a hero when returning.
Madison Square Garden provided an all-time loud pop when Triple H returned in early 2002 in a moment that is still emotional today. Triple H's return held up so well that WWE still views the comeback moment from an injury as a way to get similar fan love.
The Attitude Era had so many wild and funny moments that it was easy to view some great moments as just another night at the time. Steve Austin following Booker T in a grocery store and attacking him in a hilarious brawl was not treated like a huge moment by WWE.
However, the audience found it so funny that it became a commonly discussed segment for decades. Booker even jokes about all the tough matches he had in his career and how fans ask about this more than anything else. Austin and Booker had a segment that will stand the test of time that just happened to be in a supermarket of all places.
