Grasshopper Manufacture Teases Announcement for June 15

Grasshopper Manufacture teases an announcement for June 14 at 9:00 p.m. PDT / June 15 at 12:00 a.m. EDT via an official teaser website. The announcement was originally planned for June 9, but the company shifted the countdown and shared an update on its Twitter account.

The Grasshopper Manufacture 25th anniversary website opened on March 29 with the tagline "Something's gonna happen" and countdown timer. This countdown timer was originally supposed to end on June 9 at 2:00 a.m. ET. In a new tweet, Grasshopper Manufacture asks if fans notice anything strange happening with the countdown timer. The countdown has shifted to June 15, and Grasshopper Manufacture ensures that the timer will not be affected again. Additionally, No More Heroes series and Killer 7 porting studio Engine Software quote tweeted the recent post by Grasshopper Manufacture.

"Today Grasshopper celebrates our 25th anniversary! Thanks for all your patronage & support, & here's to 25 more years," Grasshopper Manufacture previously said in a tweet, "I’ll never forget that day 25 years ago, even though I joined the company in 2022. So anyways, what's up with this countdown?"

Grasshopper Manufacture is expected to make a major game announcement on June 15. Possible candidates for the upcoming reveal include a brand-new project funded by NetEase Games, Suda51 and Swery65's Hotel Barcelona, or an IP revival to name a few. However, nothing has been directly confirmed outside of the countdown timer and a reveal of some kind at the end.
