The date and time displayed on your iPhone are determined by its time zone settings. If you're traveling to a different time zone or live in a country that observes Daylight Saving Time, it's easy to make sure your phone always displays the correct time.

By default, your iPhone will automatically change time zones depending on your location or adjust for Daylight Saving Time changes. To confirm your iPhone does this, head to Settings > General > Date & Time. Make sure Set Automatically is toggled on.

If the Time Zone field keeps loading and doesn't display a selected region, you need to return to the main Settings page. Head to Privacy & Security > Location Services and toggle on Location Services if you haven't already.

Then, scroll down and tap System Services. Toggle on Setting Time Zone. Now, when you go back to Date & Time, you will see the selected city and time zone.

There might be times when you want to change your iPhone time manually. Some of us like to manually adjust the time to stay on schedule. You will also have to do this if you're concerned about privacy and have turned off Location Services on an iPhone.

To manually adjust the time, head to Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure Set Automatically is toggled off. Then, you can manually change the time as desired.

If the Set Automatically option is grayed out and you can't turn it off, there are two potential fixes. First, you may need to disable Screen Time on your iPhone.

Another solution is to update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS. In Settings, go to General > Software Update to check if there's an update available for your device.

If these two fixes don't work for you, it may be due to your carrier, country, or region not allowing you to switch between automatic and manual time settings. Also, if the iPhone has been configured with a corporate profile, such setting changes might not be allowed due to device restrictions.

All in all, as long as you allow your iPhone to automatically adjust the correct time, you won't ever have to worry about it being incorrect after a Daylight Saving Time change or when traveling.

Thank you cheers.

You don't need a third-party app to record calls on your iPhone anymore.

If you really want an iPad, you likely won't be happy settling for a cheaper Android tablet.

Despite packing capable hardware, Android tablets are still not on par with Apple's iPads.

You need these accessories if you use an iPhone 16 Pro as your daily driver.

I don't need a full-fledged tablet when all I do with it is take notes.
