Gurdon High School partnered with Nevco for the design and installation of a cutting-edge Video Scoring Solution. This new addition marks a significant upgrade to the school’s football stadium, promising to enrich the game-day experience for athletes, students, and community members alike.

The newly installed Nevco video display, which boasts high-definition resolution and advanced digital capabilities, will provide clear and vibrant visuals for sporting events, school functions, and community gatherings. The large (9.45’H x 18.9’W), 10mm full color screen is designed to deliver detailed imagery of every moment of excitement that is captured and broadcasted with exceptional clarity.

In addition to the video display, Gurdon also invested in a Model 3621 Scoreboard with amber LED digits and red electronic team names placed below the board, signage above and below the board with school branding and advertisements, and a set of Delay of Game Timer with red digits.

“We are thrilled to have our new Nevco video display at Gurdon High School,” said Kyle Jackson, Gurdon Athletic Director. “This upgrade is more than just a technological enhancement; it represents our commitment to providing a top-notch experience for our students and community. The new display will serve as a central hub for school spirit and engagement, bringing everyone together to celebrate our school’s achievements and milestones.”

Nevco, a leading provider of sports and event displays, is renowned for its innovative solutions and commitment to quality. The company’s expertise in designing and implementing high-performance display systems ensures that Gurdon High School’s new video display will be a reliable and impactful addition to their sports complex.

“We are honored to have partnered with Gurdon High School on this exciting project,” said Alex Brewer, Sports Video Consultant at Nevco. “Our goal is to help schools and organizations enhance their event experiences, and we are confident that this new display will do just that for Gurdon High School. We look forward to seeing how it will contribute to the school’s vibrant community spirit.”

The Go-Devils debuted their new display to the community at their first home game of the season on Sept. 6, 2024, and celebrated with a win.
